Meanwhile, the second pre-teen, who added comments to the original post, was also charged and similarly referred to the department. Sheriff Mike Hunt expressed gratitude towards residents who alerted the school officials and law enforcement about these threats, noting, “Our office will continue to work closely with the Aiken County Public School District to ensure a safe learning environment for students, teachers, and staff.”
