Now in its 28th year, this charming pumpkin patch has become a favorite destination for families, friends, and anyone looking to embrace the spirit of fall.

As you drive by the Saint Bartholomew’s Episcopal Church on Martintown Road, you can’t help but notice the joyful sight of pumpkins dotting the church hill. Each year, the patch is awash with vibrant orange pumpkins, big and small, just waiting to be picked. It’s not just pumpkins, though; you can also find a variety of gourds and decorative pumpkins to add a festive touch to your home decor.

Church member Sandy Zeller emphasizes the importance of these efforts, explaining, “We do have to charge a little bit more because the money does go back to the community. So it’s not just a matter of taking a pumpkin, going home, and placing it on your mantle. Every time you buy a pumpkin from us, you know that the money, the proceeds, the extra money that you’re spending is going back into the community.” It’s a beautiful reminder that when you purchase a pumpkin, you’re doing much more than taking home a seasonal decoration—you’re investing in your community.
Visiting the Pumpkin Patch
Interested in visiting? The pumpkin patch is open every weekday from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., and on weekends, you can drop by Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.. With ample time to explore, families can leisurely wander through the patch and select their favorite pumpkins while taking in the cheerful atmosphere.
