Hey there, Augusta! Get ready to add a tasty new spot to your dining options because Huey Magoo’s Chicken Tenders is coming to town later this year! This fast-food franchise isn’t just any ordinary chicken place; they proudly claim to serve “The Filet Mignon of Chicken.” Yum!
Huey Magoo’s will be setting up shop near the new Kroger Marketplace at Eisenhower Crossing, located at the corner of Harper Franklin Avenue and Jimmie Dyess Parkway. In case you didn’t know, the Kroger opened its doors in May alongside the newly built Belair Elementary School, making this area a fantastic destination for families and busy schedules.
Now, let’s talk about what’s cooking at Huey Magoo’s! Their menu is all about chicken tenders, but not just any chicken tenders. You can enjoy them grilled, hand-breaded, or “sauced” to your heart’s content. Speaking of sauces, they have seven different flavors to tickle your taste buds!
But that’s not all! If chicken tenders aren’t your thing, don’t worry! The restaurant also features fresh-made salads, sandwiches, and wraps for those looking for something a little different. And yes, every chicken tender is made from all-natural ingredients with no preservatives—so you can indulge guilt-free!
Huey Magoo’s makes it super easy for you to enjoy their delicious food. Whether you want to dine in, grab takeout, have it delivered, or even use the drive-thru or curbside pickup, they’ve got you covered. Catering services are also available for those big gatherings where you want to impress your friends and family. Can you say party food? Yes, please!
Where did this wonderful eatery come from, you ask? Huey Magoo’s was born in the Orlando, Florida area back in 2004, thanks to the creativity of founders Matt Armstrong and Thad Hudgens. In 2016, they got a superstar addition to their team when Andy Howard, the former executive vice president of Wingstop, became the CEO.
Since then, the franchise has been on the move! Augusta will be one of its many new locations opening soon. There is a 2,751-square-foot restaurant planned, complete with a cozy 300-square-foot patio for those lovely Georgia evenings.
In case you didn’t catch it, just last month, they also opened a location at the renowned University of Georgia’s Sanford Stadium! What better way to treat yourself before or after a game than with some fantastic chicken tenders?
Augusta is lined up to be one of eight to ten new locations coming to Georgia and Tennessee. It looks like this franchise is on a mission to share their love for chicken with everyone!
This upcoming opening of Huey Magoo’s Chicken Tenders is one of the few exciting developments happening in town. We can’t wait to see what’s in store when they finally welcome everyone through their doors. So, keep an eye out for their opening date, because it’s going to be a tasty addition to our community!
