Clays for Conservation: A Sporting Good Time
Kick-off your Saturday, November 30, with Clays for Conservation, happening at the Palmetto Shooting Complex in nearby Edgefield. This event, hosted by the Aiken Land Conservancy, combines sports and a good cause. They’re aiming to foster camaraderie while raising funds for essential land conservation efforts. The day kicks off bright and early with beginner instruction available at 9 a.m. followed by registration for experienced shooters at 10:30 a.m.
Participants will enjoy a day filled with shooting activities! The event will have an amateur category for rookies, competitive divisions for seasoned shooters, and even a junior category to get the kids involved. Tickets range from $75 to $150 which includes lunch, ammo, and access to the Last Shot Bar. So whether you’re a pro or just curious to learn, this clay shoot offers something for everyone! Get Crafty at the Farmers Market
After a thrilling morning at the shooting range, head over to the Aiken County Farmers Market from 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Saturday for some unique holiday shopping! This year’s Christmas Crafts event will showcase a variety of handcrafted items perfect for gifting. You’ll find everything from unique art to artisan jewelry and delightful soaps made by talented local artisans.
