Spiritual Connection

For those of you looking for a peaceful moment in your busy weekend, the Quakers (Religious Society of Friends) are hosting a virtual service on Sunday, September 1. Vigil for Peace and Nonviolence

On Monday, September 2, from 4:30-5:30 p.m., join the Aiken Women in Black and Moms Demand Action for a Vigil for Peace and Nonviolence on Whiskey Road across from The Fresh Market. This gathering aims to call for an end to ongoing wars and rising gun violence across our country. Everyone is welcome to participate—bring a nonpartisan sign or one of their provided signs. Join the Choir!

If you or someone you know has a passion for music, the Aiken County Boys Choir, named Bound to Sing, is holding open practices/auditions on Monday, September 16, at 4 p.m. at Aiken’s First Baptist Church, 120 Chesterfield St. N.. Food and Fun: Murder Mystery Dinner Party!

Let’s spice things up with a bit of mystery. Join the Murder Mystery Dinner Party at Red Lobster on Monday, September 16, at 5 p.m. Dinner is served for $30, including a choice between two meals. Music Jam Session

On Wednesdays, the ACBL Sectional Bridge Game kicks off at 1 p.m., with a free lesson available beforehand at 11:30 a.m. This is perfect for both new players and seasoned pros looking for some friendly competition.
