Vigil for Peace and Nonviolence
On Monday, September 2, from 4:30-5:30 p.m., join the Aiken Women in Black and Moms Demand Action for a Vigil for Peace and Nonviolence on Whiskey Road across from The Fresh Market. This gathering aims to call for an end to ongoing wars and rising gun violence across our country. Everyone is welcome to participate—bring a nonpartisan sign or one of their provided signs. Join the Choir!
If you or someone you know has a passion for music, the Aiken County Boys Choir, named Bound to Sing, is holding open practices/auditions on Monday, September 16, at 4 p.m. at Aiken’s First Baptist Church, 120 Chesterfield St. N..
