First up, on Saturday, October 19, don’t miss the Fall Harvest Festival at Southern Carolina Palms and More, located at 22 Gunter Road. It runs from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and promises a fantastic day with food trucks, bounce houses, live music, and even face painting for the kids. Gospel Fest at Unityfest

If you’re in the mood for some uplifting music, head over to Beverly D. Clyburn Generations Park for the Shoutfest Unityfest. This outdoor gospel festival runs from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and will feature an incredible lineup, including Wess Morgan, Crystal Aiken, and the Unity Dance Co. Classical Concert

Later in the day, you can enjoy a concert by the AAA/SAB Band at South Aiken Baptist Church, beginning at 4 p.m.. Family Fun at Fall Fission Festival

Also happening on Saturday, there’s the Fall Fission Festival from 1-4 p.m. at the SRS Museum. This event is free and offers fun activities for kids of all ages. It’s a great way to learn about local history in a lively atmosphere, so don’t miss out!

Motors for Military Car Show

Motorheads will love the Motors for Military car show at Augusta University’s Summerville Campus. Running from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, you can enjoy food, music, and inflatables while supporting military students. It’s rain or shine, so come out and support a great cause!

Clothing Drive and Cookout

American Legion Post 26 will be hosting a Children’s Clothing Drive and Cookout from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.. They are in need of donations such as socks, jackets, and long-sleeved shirts, and you can enjoy some delicious food while contributing to a worthy cause. Arts and Literature Events

Don’t forget about the Aiken Center for the Arts. An opening reception for the African Roots – Gullah Fruit Exhibit will take place on October 22 from 5:30-7:30 p.m., offering insights into the Gullah culture through fascinating pieces. Meanwhile, the Carolina Pine Quilters are hosting their 44th annual Quilt Show at the Aiken County Historical Museum from October 22 to November 15.

Upcoming Halloween Fun!
