There’s something for the little ones too! The Aiken County Public Library is hosting a Trick-or-Treat Storytime on Wednesday, Oct. 30, with sessions at 10:15 a.m. and 11:30 a.m.. Trick-or-treating kicks off at 10:30 a.m. Children can delight in storytime before collecting treats—just remember, they can only attend one session!
For those seeking support, various groups such as the Awesome Aiken Al-Anon and Celebrate Recovery will meet regularly. You can find Al-Anon meetings on Tuesdays and Thursdays at First Christian Church, while Celebrate Recovery meets at Cedar Creek Church at 7 p.m. on Tuesdays. The Depression Anxiety Bipolar Support Group also welcomes attendees online via the GoToMeeting App.
Halloween is right around the corner! Join the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office from 3-5 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 31, for an exciting trick-or-treat event at 420 Hampton Ave.. Employees will be dressed in costumes handing out goodies to young ones. If that’s not enough candy for you, head to the Aiken County Recreation Center from 4-6 p.m. for their Spooktacular Trick-or-Treat event!
