Bingo Fun at Aiken Senior Life Services
If you’re in the mood for a little friendly competition, head over to Aiken Senior Life Services on 1310 E. Pine Log Road tonight from 6 to 8 p.m. for Let’s Go Bingo!. For just a $5 cover charge, you can join in on the fun, with game cards selling for $1 each or $15 to $25 depending on how many you want. It’s a great way to meet new friends and maybe even win some prizes!
Book Lovers Unite!
Calling all bookworms! The Book Club will be gathering tomorrow, November 26, at 11 a.m. and again at 5:30 p.m. in the Garnet Room at the Cromwell Building, located in Gregg Park Civic Center at 1001 A Ave., Graniteville. Support Groups for Connections and Growth
Feeling the need for some support? A range of groups are meeting this week. The Awesome Aiken Al-Anon group is all set to meet from 6:30-7:30 p.m. on both Tuesdays and Thursdays at First Christian Church, 900 Kerr Drive. There’s also Nar-Anon, which supports families and friends affected by drug addiction, meeting in person on Tuesdays at St. John’s Methodist Church at 104 Newberry St. S.W.. Lastly, Celebrate Recovery, a 12-step group, meets at Cedar Creek Church at 3001 Banks Mill Road at 7 p.m. on Tuesdays. It’s great that there are so many resources available!
History Buffs Rejoice!
If you’re looking to learn something new, the Savannah River Site Museum at 224 Laurens St. S.W. is open Wednesday to Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.. Thanksgiving Festivities Coming Up
With Thanksgiving around the corner, mark your calendars for a couple of special meals. On Thursday, November 28, the First Baptist Church of Wagener will be hosting a Thanksgiving Dinner from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.. Best part? It’s free, and you don’t need to bring a thing!
