With a mostly sunny forecast set for the upcoming days—expect highs of around 59°F and gentle winds—you might find yourself exploring all that Aiken has to offer!

Musical Nights at The Willcox

If you love jazz, make sure to swing by The Willcox every Thursday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. You’ll find 4 Cats in the Doghouse bringing sweet sounds to life. What a delightful way to unwind after a busy week.

Support Groups for a Brighter Tomorrow

For those seeking community and support, there are several group meetings across Aiken. The Back to Basics Alcoholics Anonymous group meets in person at St. Paul Lutheran Church at 7 p.m. on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. They encourage masks for unvaccinated attendees to ensure everyone feels safe.

Additionally, the Awesome Aiken Al-Anon group meets Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at First Christian Church. If you’re looking for a comforting space, the Nar-Anon Aiken For Comfort Family Group also hosts sessions on Tuesdays, while Celebrate Recovery, with its 12-step program, holds meetings at 7 p.m. on Tuesdays at Cedar Creek Church.

For those who enjoy card games, an ACBL Sectional Bridge Game takes place every Monday and Wednesday at 1 p.m. Don’t know how to play bridge? No problem! Attend the free lesson offered at 11:30 a.m. prior to the game. It’s a great social activity and perfect for meeting new people.

Looking for family-friendly happenings? Don’t miss the Noon Years Eve Party at the Aiken County Public Library on Dec. 31 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Kids aged 1 and older will enjoy activities, snacks, and dancing to ring in the new year!
