Hey there, Augusta! If you’re one of those folks who love hanging out on weekends, it’s the perfect time to think about casting your ballot. That’s right! Voting is available on Saturdays right here in our area, and it’s a great time to make your voice heard.

Early Voting Kicks Off

The early voting period started on October 19 for Richmond and Columbia counties, and if you haven’t submitted your ballot yet, it might just be the chance you’ve been waiting for! Mark your calendars, because there’s another Saturday available for voting on October 26. And if you’re in Aiken County, don’t worry; you’ve got your own Saturdays for voting coming up on October 26 and November 2. Easy peasy!

Your Voting Locations

For those in Richmond County, there are plenty of convenient spots where you can cast your vote. The polls are open from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. at:

  • Augusta-Richmond County Municipal Building on Telfair Street
  • Henry Brigham Community Center on Golden Camp Road
  • Robert C. Howard Community Center on Diamond Lakes Way
  • Warren Road Community Center

Columbia County voters, you’re not left out! The board of elections has you covered with polling at:

  • Building G3 on Ronald Reagan Drive in Evans
  • The former Euchee Creek Library on Euchee Creek Drive in Grovetown
  • Columbia County School District Support Department Complex on River Watch Parkway in Evans

The hours during the week of October 21 are from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with extended hours on October 26 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and the following week from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m..

Aiken County’s Polling Places

Now, if you’re in Aiken County, you have options too! The polling is open from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. at:

  • Local elections office on University Parkway in Aiken
  • North Augusta Community Center on Brookside Avenue
  • Roy Warner Park on Festival Trail Road in Wagener
  • O’Dell Weeks Recreational Center on Whiskey Road in Aiken

Special Sunday Voting

And let’s not forget! If you need to squeeze in some time to vote on a Sunday, Richmond County is offering Sunday voting from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. on October 27 at the municipal building. Such flexibility can make all the difference for those busy schedules!
