Community Engagement and Support

If charity is close to your heart, don’t forget about the free hurricane relief event happening this Saturday at Electric Eats at 6 p.m.. This event will feature live music from JoJo Hermann/Sam Holt, The Mason Jars, and The Magnificent Jam Revival. Guests are encouraged to bring non-perishable items or donate to the Kisner Foundation Hurricane Relief Fund to support the local area following recent storms.

Upcoming Local Festivals and Fundraisers

This week is packed with local happenings! Unfortunately, the Aiken Downtown Development Association’s Oktoberfest scheduled for Saturday has been canceled. However, the CSRA Parkinson Support Group’s POP Walk for Parkinson’s will still take place on October 5th. Registrations open at 9 a.m., with the walk beginning at 10 a.m. at First Baptist Church, 3500 Walton Way Extension, Augusta. Participants who raise $25 or more will receive a special t-shirt!
