Augusta Homicide Investigation Continues: Witnesses Urged to Share Information

In the early hours of June 15, the local authorities in Augusta, Georgia, were greeted with a grim sight. Elias Jkhael Delk, a 28-year-old man, was found dead in the parking lot of Dollar General located at 1710 Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard. Deputies responded to the 1700 block of Martin Luther King Jr. around 4:45 a.m. to investigate a suspicious situation. Coroner Mark Bowen confirmed that Delk succumbed to multiple blunt-force trauma injuries, and was pronounced dead at the scene at 5:45 a.m.
