Aiken Kicks Off Voting for Top Docs 2025!

Voting for the 2025 Aiken’s Choice Top Docs is officially open and runs until December 23rd. Yes, you heard that right! Now is your chance to show your appreciation for your favorite doctors in town.
How Does It Work?
This year’s voting format is slightly different. The top three nominees in each specialty have already been chosen and moved into the voting round. You can cast your vote for esteemed physicians across a wide range of categories—everything from cardiologists to chiropractors, dentists to general surgeons, and much more!

Winners and finalists will be announced on February 22, 2025. But that’s not all! There will be a grand celebration for all the winners at Newberry Hall on February 25, 2025, and guess what? Tickets will be available for the public! So, save the date and prepare to join in the festivities.
Why the Change?
This year, the process has returned to separating the Top Docs nominations from the general Aiken’s Choice voting. According to Diane Daniell, the advertising sales manager, this change was made to ensure our medical professionals feel truly special. “That’s how we used to do it because we wanted the doctors to really feel special,” Diane explains. “And whereas they see each other all the time, they don’t really get to see each other in a social environment.”
A Bit of History
For those who might be new to Aiken, this annual event is a long-standing tradition in recognizing the high-quality healthcare practitioners in the area. Last year, the fabulous Stacey Bulfinch Idica clinched the title of Best Nurse Practitioner in the 2022 Aiken’s Choice Top Docs contest. Now, it’s time to see who will take home the honors this year!
