Chamber Series Opens with a Special Performance

If you’re in the mood for some enchanting vocal performances, don’t miss “An Evening with Keely & Megan.” This special concert will be held at 7 p.m. at the Etherredge Center on the campus of USC Aiken. Join Dr. Keely Jean Rhodes and Dr. Megan Hall for a musical evening that promises to be memorable. Tickets are priced at just $20 for general admission, and as a heartfelt thank you to community helpers after Helene, they’ll be offering free admission!

Community Pet Events

For pet lovers, the weekend is filled with furry fun! On Saturday, October 12, the Aiken County Animal Shelter is hosting a Community Pet Food Drive from 8:45 to 10 a.m. This drive aims to assist those in need, where you can simply drive to the shelter’s front door and receive pet food right in your car! Need more pet companionship? Join the Super Saturday Adoption Event later that day from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., where adoption fees are waived for all dogs, puppies, cats, and kittens!

Fun for Families at the Great Pumpkin Patch

Have some family fun at the Great Pumpkin Patch hosted by the Sullivan Turner Team this Saturday, October 12, from noon to 3 p.m. at Great Oak. Enjoy a wholesome afternoon picking pumpkins, listening to live music, and savoring apple cider and treats – a perfect way to enjoy the fall weather!

Run for Freedom – A Chance to Get Moving!

Calling all fitness enthusiasts! On Saturday morning, the Run for Freedom 5K and 1-mile fun run takes place at 9 a.m. at the H. Odell Weeks Activities Center. Registration starts at 7:20 a.m., and proceeds from this event will benefit the Bridge 2 Home initiative. Come out for a great cause and invigorate your morning with some exercise!

Community Giving Through Rummage Sales and Events

Looking for a fantastic way to give back? Join the rummage sale from October 17-19 at St. Paul Lutheran Church. The preview sale on October 17 is just $10, and for those who can’t make it, general sale hours on the 18th and 19th start at 8 a.m.. All proceeds go to Family Promise Aiken County.
