Western Carolina State Fair Kicks Off Soon
Mark your calendars because the Western Carolina State Fair is just around the corner! This year, the fair will take place from October 11-20. Each day, the gates will swing open at 5 p.m. on weekdays and at noon on weekends. This beloved event promises fun for everyone, featuring carnival rides, delicious food, and exciting games. A Musical Evening with the Augusta Symphony
If you’re in the mood for some tunes, head over to the Miller Theater in Augusta on October 10 for a performance by the Augusta Symphony. They’ll be playing “Bruce in the USA,” a tribute to Bruce Springsteen, starting at 7:30 p.m.. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.. Tickets can be purchased from their website, so don’t miss out on a wonderful night of music!
Food Lovers Rejoice at the Pasta Festival
Food enthusiasts won’t want to miss the annual Pasta Festival hosted by the Italian American Club of the CSRA on October 11. Taking place at Immaculate Conception Catholic School, this event features delicious plates of spaghetti with meatballs or sausage, salad, rolls, and drinks for just $12. The festival runs from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. for lunch and from 4:30 to 8 p.m. for dinner. Make sure to stop by, as credit cards will be accepted!
Fall Fest and Beer Fest: A Perfect Pair
On October 12, Sweetwater Ag Products LLC will host its Fall Fest, running from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 390 Sweetwater Road, North Augusta. And that’s not all! If you’re a beer lover, the Evans Beer Fest at the Plaza at Evans Towne Center will kick off at 2 p.m.. With over 150 beers to sample alongside tasty food trucks and live entertainment by Ryan Trotti, it’s sure to be a fantastic afternoon. Community Events: Run for Freedom and More
For those looking to get active, Bridge 2 Home will host its annual Run for Freedom 5K on October 12 at the Odell Weeks Activities Center. The 5K starts at 9 a.m., and there’s a Kids Fun Run for little ones under 9 years old starting at 9:45 a.m.. Registration details can be found on their website.
Additionally, the Harvest Festival at Boondock Farms will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the same day. Expect a vibrant atmosphere filled with local vendors, delicious foods, and live music to enjoy!
