Looks like we’ll have a high around 74°F with a pleasant breeze from the northeast between 10 to 15 mph. As we move into the evening, expect partly cloudy skies turning into cloudy ones after midnight, cooling down to around 57°F. So, it’s a perfect day to head out to the shelter and meet our lovely pets!
Meet the “Only Pet” Crew
Let’s get to know our featured pets! Each of these sweet animals has a unique personality and story. First up is Whitney, the delightful dog who is simply terrific with children. This smart girl knows her commands, is house-trained, and is a joy to walk. She’s even participated in school trips and has brought smiles to seniors. However, Whitney has a special request—she wants to be the only fluffy family member in her new home. No cats or dogs for her, thank you!

And we can’t leave out our only feline friend, Cane. This sweet boy came to the shelter as a stray and has had a rough go. After being adopted, he found himself back at the shelter, terrified and anxious. Cane would thrive as an only pet, seeking someone who can help him build trust and affection. If you give him a chance, he promises to be a loving and loyal companion.
